People frequently ask us how they can get discounts on our products. Here’s the scoop:
Free Stuff
First, of course, there’s all sorts of free stuff.
You can join the free Bookkeeping Skills Lab Facebook Group and gain access to our free courses – QBO QuickStart, Xero QuickStart, Free Exercises: featuring over 200 free hands-on exercises, Getting Clients Toolkit, and our weekly livestream, where we go over our free exercise of the week.
Once you join the group, you’ll find the deets on all this listed in our Student Success Guide. We’ll also email it to you when you sign up. Check your spam, junk, promotions, and social folders. Many times these emails will land in one of those folders instead of the inbox. (If you can’t find it, please submit a support request at https://akadian.com/support for help.)
Student Discount
Second, if you’ve taken any of our ProAdvisor certification courses, there’s a 25% off student discount coupon available in the “Next Steps” section after you pass your test. This coupon is good for most products in our catalog.
Earned Savings
There are also savings associated with certain activities. For example, if you complete the QBO Gym 5-Day Bookkeeping Challenge, you have a limited opportunity to purchase the Gym at a discount: https://www.akadian.com/gym5
Group Discounts
We also have discounts available in some groups/courses that you may belong to. Ask your group leader for their coupon code – we can’t give it to you on their behalf. If your leader says they don’t have a code, please have them reach out to https://akadian.com/support, and we can discuss their options.
Advertisements
You may see some of our ads running on Facebook and other places. These often offer discounts as well. Sometimes they’re only good for as long as the ad is up, and other times they’re ongoing. Quick tip: The only way to get these prices is to click on the ad.
Promotions
Finally, we occasionally run special, limited-time promotions.
These sales are advertised in our newsletter, which typically comes out every Friday. We also send emails to folks who, according to our records, need and have not purchased that particular course.
If you prefer to never receive promotional emails (and are OK missing the deals!), every email contains a link to manage your preferences.
Note that if you click the Unsubscribe button instead, we cannot email you at all – including support for any courses you’ve purchased.
